Message to attendees of the January 2010 Second Saturday

Hey gang!

We’ve just sold out of all the tickets for tomorrow’s event. I know we’re all looking forward to getting together at The Pub tomorrow. We’ve just sold out the event!

I encourage you to check out the event page to see the list of who’s all coming; there are a number of you will be there for the first time tomorrow. We’re looking forward to meeting you!

Some things to keep in mind:

• Special thanks again to The Pub for letting us use their patio, and to Chad Middleton from Outerwoven (http://twitter.com/outerwoven) for sponsoring the event. I know we’re looking forward to hearing what he has to say about how the tax changes in 2009 affect us as employees and business owners in the coming year.
• The Bengals-Jets playoff game will be happening around the time of our meeting. That may mean that parking spaces in the Pub’s lot could be taken up. I encourage you to use the parking garage across from The Pub – it’s free, too.
• My friend Bernie Warren (http://twitter.com/berniewarren) will be helping out with name tags. I’ll have blank tags and markers for you to write your name and, if you’d like, something you’re looking forward to in the New Year. Thanks for your help in advance, Bernie!
• You are encouraged to bring your cameras, mobile devices, laptops, etc. and create content during the event about the event.
• It looks like we’re going to be able to stream the event to the internet via UStream again. Thank you again to Don (http://twitter.com/drsceifers) and Vickie Sceifers (http://twitter.com/editvdo) for all your work in getting this done!
