Music
Through the magic of post-production, I added two songs from local Cincinnati-based independent artist Drew Laplante, who happened to join us on the call near the end. Special thanks to him for giving permission to have his music played on programs like this one:
- Drew Laplante, “It All Comes Down To You”
- Drew Laplante, “Fallen Star”
U.S. Mood Map: Kentucky Saddest, Hawaii Happiest? – mentioned by Drew.
The theme music used at the beginning and end is called “Surf Babe” from Alamantra. Thanks again to them for letting us use their music.

May 2009 Second Saturday Review
- Really big turnout
- Unconference format made things lively and organic
- Groups had organized around podcasting, video and streaming video, blogging, monetization, and tele-working
- Some folks took charge and led conversations;other groups did not
- Great conversations overall
- Marjorie Signer’s blog post
- Michelle Beckham-Corbin’s blog post
June 2009 Second Saturday Format
- Remember the “Scenes from a Hat” segments on “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” (video below shows an example)
- “Social Media Questions in a Hat”
- Several short questions submitted beforehand
- Could be specific or general
- Anyone could offer thoughts – about 1 minute apiece
Open-ended Question
I asked an open-ended question at the end. Something for further discussion that we didn’t have time to go into at this particular time.
