- Special thanks to Carole Hicks for the idea for having a simultaneous meetup at the recent SummitUp in Dayton. She set up the New Media Dayton twitter feed for news about the group.
- Bryan Suddith will be the host for the New Media Dayton event.
- Other chatroom/call participants:
- Don Sceifers talked about how UStreaming of events has developed throughout 2009 to the quality it is now. We have wireless microphones and portable speakers, and Don and Tom Rockhold have been doing a great job managing this aspect of Second Saturdays.
- October Second Saturday review:
- Branding/ice-breaker exercise was well-received.
- Name tag with a word you use to describe yourself
- Smaller tags to write down words to describe others you’ve had conversations with
- We were able to meet and talk with just about everyone

- November Second Saturday:
- Twitter will be the main vehicle for communication (#newmediacincy, #NMD)
- New Media Cincinnati will broadcast links to UStream to Twitter.
- We will look for a link to what New Media Dayton will do.
- Depending on the technology used, we might be able to “cohost” one another’s streams.
- Don Sceifers is the point person for New Media Cincinnati UStream. Dylan Combs might also be a resource.
