As we approach the end of another season of New Media Cincinnati this week, we’ll be reflecting back on what has happened this past year and how we’ve changed through our involvement in this space. As mentioned previously, this year we’re giving away New Media Cincinnati Digital Awards to recognize and encourage those who have done great work, not only in our community but also in the Greater Cincinnati area.
We put out the call for nominations, and you responded. The complete list of the 2010 New Media Cincinnati Digital Award Nominees is as follows:
NMC Digital Native Award
Exemplary dedication to the practice and promotion of digital literacy and community building in the Greater Cincinnati area over the past year.

Kevin emailed, upon being notified that he’d been nominated, asking that he be removed from the list of nominees in order that others may receive recognition. While extremely honored by the votes and nomination, he wants to shine a broader light on the community, since there are so many people doing such great work.
The New Media Cincinnati Steering Committee accepts his reasoning, since it’s the reason we created the award in the first place.
NMC Digital Giving First Award
Outstanding support toward members and potential members of the New Media Cincinnati community by sharing expertise and raising awareness through education and example both within meetings and during after-hours over the past year.
