Help! Something is broken over here!

Some time ago, maybe after I upgraded newmediacincinnati.com to WordPress 3.0, perhaps, the Visual editor broke. I can still click on the Visual tab and write in there, but the WYSIWYG toolbar is not present, with all of its features.

I haven’t been able to make the time to figure it out myself, but I bet there is someone in the New Media Cincinnati community who could dig under the hood over here and figure out what’s going on. Get in touch if you think you can help.

UPDATE: When I clicked to edit this post, Visual mode shows nothing – no text or anything. Only when I clicked HTML tab could I see this text and edit it. Here are some pictures that show what I’m seeing:

Add New Post - HTML tab

Add new post - Visual tab is broken

UPDATE: This appears to have been fixed with the latest version of WordPress I have installed over here.(3.0.4 as of this writing)

If you go to your user profile there is a setting “Disable the visual editor when writing” it is probably checked.

Hi Dave, thanks for the comments.

I looked at my user profile, but that box isn’t checked. I checked it,
saved, tried again, went back and unchecked it. Same results.

I can see both the Visual and HTML tabs. I start off in the HTML tab, where
I can buttons for functionality to format, insert links, etc.; when I click
the Visual tab, I don’t see any buttons, and the text is still in HTML
    format.

I’ll post some pics to this post as an update.
