Last week we spent some time chatting about the upcoming New Media Cincinnati Second Saturday, which will be on February 13, 2010. Direct download (mp3, 57:27, 51.7 MB). Many thanks to all who participated live on the call, whether you were able to dial in or not. We played music from local artists, recapped our time together in January, and discussed some ideas for the February event and some ways you might be able to participate.
Music
Special thanks to Michelle Beckham-Corbin for connecting us with The Honneycombs, another band from the Cincinnati area. I’ve enjoyed listening to their music in the background while working. Check them out at the Leo Coffeehouse on March 7, 2010 for their CD release party. With their permission, we played three of their songs:
- “Live a Little”
- “In Bed with Victor Hugo“
- “Big Magoo”
Bumper music used at the end is “Surf Babe” from Alamantra as found on Mevio’s Music Alley. Thanks again to them for letting us use their music on this program.
