Earlier this week I put a call out on this blog for, among other things, some JOLT speakers.  If you’ve been to meetups in the past, we have had discussions about a single topic that last for about 20 minutes or so.  I thought it would be great to mix things up by having multiple speakers who would talk for a shorter length of time: 5 minutes.

In the order in which they came in, here are your JOLT speakers for tomorrow’s meetup (hyperlinks to their Twitter presence, since they all are over there):

  • John Buehler, “Communicating Your Web Presence”
  • Kristin Beireis, “How Social Is Too Social?”
  • Andy Erickson, “University of Cincinnati’s Center of Innovation Efforts”
  • Heath Parks, “Starting a video blog and learning how to encode for the web”
  • Don and Vickie Sceifers, “The New Face of Facebook”

I plan to bring my iRiver to record these JOLTs to be released here on the website, but if someone has a better piece of recording they’d like to bring and record instead, then that would be excellent! Get in touch and let me know.

So far we have over 60 people registered, which means we could very well have the largest turnout we’ve ever had.
